Biography:

Prof. Karim Ifrak, a distinguished scholar holding a Doctorate from the École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris), is renowned as an Islamologist and researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) in France. His expertise spans the history of texts, the life of thought in Muslim worlds, globalized Islam, and contemporary ideologies. Dr. Ifrak is actively involved in various research societies and international research groups and delivers lectures extensively across the USA, Europe, Central Asia, the Maghreb, and the Middle East. As a specialized researcher, he focuses on written Islamic heritage and chairs the Institut des études académiques in Paris, dedicated to the study of Islamic ideology, arts, and cultures. Dr. Ifrak's scholarly contributions include numerous publications in scientific journals, exploring the history and intellectual heritage of Arabic and Islamic texts. Committed to promoting intellectual and cultural dialogue, he participates in academic conferences worldwide and has appeared on national television and radio programs in France and beyond. Notable among his publications are “La réforme en islam. Quelques clés de réponse”, “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité: Valeurs Spirituelles, valeurs Républicaines”, and "Ibn Achour, His Life, His Work and His Thought". His upcoming books, “The Prophet of Islam: Five Centuries in The Eyes of The Greatest Western Thinkers” and “The Sultan of Poets, Nizami Ganjavi”, are eagerly awaited and will be published by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center in Baku, Azerbaijan.
