Biography:

Prof. Dr. H. Muhlisin, M.Ag. is a Professor of Islamic Education at UIN KH Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan, Indonesia. He completed his undergraduate and master’s studies at UIN Walisongo Semarang and earned his doctoral degree in Education from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Bandung. Over the course of his academic career, he has held numerous senior leadership positions, including Vice Rector, Director of Graduate Studies, and Dean of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training.

His scholarly expertise encompasses Islamic education policy, curriculum development, religious moderation, digital-based Islamic education, and character education. He has produced a substantial body of academic publications in reputable national and international journals and has been actively engaged as a speaker and resource person at various international academic forums. Prof. Muhlisin is an active member of professional and academic organizations, and his academic contributions are indexed in Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar.
